informatics - information science

Bioinformatics - information science of biology, or the overlap between biology and informatics.

Unfortunately, in this post-human genome era, bioinformatics is widely used as a synonym of genomics, proteomics, or both.

This corner shares the tools developed and used by Hong in some aspects of bioinformatics, as well as some notes and links.

The debut of the first tool, a sequence aligner, will come soon.
