Language choice for developing Windows Store apps

There are three choices:

  1. JavaScript and HTML
  2. C#/VB and XAML
  3. C++ and XAML tutorial

Rachel Appel discussed the pros and cons of them.

They seem to be almost equally capable, one should choose what he feels most comfortable with.

C# and XAML have the best of both worlds - object-oriented structure and high-level language friendliness.
