Windows 10 Anniversary Update

It can screw up all kinds of things.

MTP Devices such as Windows Phone may not be recognized, and the normal way of updating the driver will fail.  The only way to fix it:

1. Device Manager.
2. Right click the malfunctioning Windows Phone under Portable Devices, and select Update Driver Software.
3. (IMPORTANT) Select Browse my computer for driver software.
4. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
5. Double-click MTP USB Device of the list

IIS may not work properly, and accessing a web page may get the following:

Service Unavailable

HTTP Error 503.  The service is unavailable.

Event Viewer may show the following entry under Windows Logs/Applications:

The Module DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\aspnetcore.dll failed to load.  The data is the error.

The remedy is: go to Programs and Features, and repair Microsoft .NET Core 1.0.1 - VS 2015 Tooling Preview 2
