Windows Store apps are inferior to their previous Windows versions.

Windows 8 can use apps from Windows Store or traditional apps for Windows.  This is really fortunate because the former is usually inferior to the latter.  For example, Amazon Kindle and Skype for Windows Store are far worse than their corresponding versions for Windows.
