Google did it again - winning the browser war
Google is not the first search engine, probably not even among the first 5. It won the search engine war by 2000. The reason: it is simply generates better search results.
Now, Google is winning the browser war. The reason: it is simply better - quicker and more robust.
It is amazing that Microsoft IE's market share has dropped from 70% to only 1/3. The software giant is simple unable to product a quick and robuts browser. I am biased for IE for some pratical reasons. IE9 is bearable at best. It crashes a dozen times per day if I use it heavily. At one point of time, it even frequently generated BSOD. I went back to IE8, then had to upgrade to IE9. The way IE is developed - releasing versions like releasing MS Windows (i.e. IE6, IE7, ...) is so 90s considering continuous delivery has become the standard practice.
Microsoft lost the smartphone war to Apple and Google. Which war will be the next for Microsoft to lose?
